📢 ToxNavigation is honored to be co-authors of two posters featured at the Congrès du Cinquantenaire de la SFT: Évolutions, Innovations et Nouvelles Tendances en Toxicologie, held in Lyon on November 14–15, 2024.
Poster 1: Overview of Useful In Silico Tools to Evaluate Ecotoxicity and Their Applicability in Cosmetic Risk Assessment
Presenters: Myriam Louazzani and Pauline Lancia (Sisley, Paris)
This poster reviews in silico tools for ecotoxicological evaluation, emphasizing their value for assessing the environmental impact of cosmetic ingredients. Key QSAR models that predict toxicity, persistence, and bioaccumulation are highlighted.
Poster 2: Case Study of Chemical Grouping to Assess the Di-C12-C13 Alkyl Tartrate
Presenters: Ludivine Gros and Pauline Lancia (Sisley, Paris)
In this study, we examine the use of chemical grouping, based on OECD guidelines, to assess Di-C12-C13 alkyl tartrate, a cosmetic ingredient with limited toxicological data. The grouping approach is demonstrated as an effective tool for filling data gaps in risk assessment.
Although ToxNavigation will not be attending in person, we’re excited to contribute to these advancements in computational toxicology. If you’re attending, don’t miss the chance to engage with our esteemed colleagues on these topics!
