new ideas on TTC: Moving from One-Size-Fits-All to Fit-for Purpose TTC Values

Today I attended a webinar organized by the CTSS (Computational Toxicology Specialty Section) of the SOT with the title "Moving from One-Size-Fits-All to Fit-for Purpose TTC Values" presented by Ron Brown, PhD, Risk Sciences Consortium and Grace Patlewicz, PhD, US EPA. I found particularly interesting the fact that recent efforts to develop fit-for-purpose TTC values were explored and the key outcomes clearly explained giving the audience new ideas on how to refine and apply the TTC for compounds in specific use categories (e.g., cosmetics, medical devices, food, consumer) or structural classes.

The recording of the webinar will be soon published at the CTSS website where upcoming and past events are also available.

If you are interested in more details, I also suggest to read the open access papers published under the topic "Advances and Refinements in the Development and Application of Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC)" by Frontiers in Toxicology:
